You walk in steady.
You speak with clarity.
You know who you are.
That’s confidence — grounded and quiet.

But sometimes the same tone,
the same energy,
the same certainty…
starts to feel like something else.

A little heavier.
A little louder.
A little too sure.

There’s a thin line.

Confidence holds presence.
Arrogance seeks power.

Confidence says:

I know my worth.
Arrogance says:
I need you to know it too.

Confidence is calm.
Arrogance needs applause.

Confidence holds space.
Arrogance takes space.

Confidence invites.
Arrogance asserts.

You say:

  • “I know what I bring to the table.”
  • “I don’t need validation.”
  • “They just can’t handle strong energy.”

And maybe that’s true.

But ask:

  • Am I standing tall — or standing above?
  • Am I sharing my truth — or making sure it’s heard over theirs?
  • Am I secure — or just armored in performance?

Confidence is rooted in self-respect.
Arrogance is built on self-protection.

One grows connection.
The other creates distance.

This is the Cushy way.
Power with softness.
Presence without pressure.
Truth without tension.

You can be magnetic —
without pushing anyone away.
